• to promote the growth, prestige and calibre of marching bands,
• to provide an information service,
• to create a forum for members’ viewpoints, and
• to encourage friendly co-operation among those engaged in youth band activities.

Drum Corps Europe is run entirely by volunteers. The management, the employees and the jury members share a great passion for drum corps, and work hard in order to promote and improve drum corps in Europe.
Everyone who provides their services within Drum Corps Europe has their own area of expertise and uses his or her knowledge and skills to help increase drum corps activity in Europe.
Drum Corps Europe was set up in 2000 with the aim of putting drum & bugle corps, which at the time barely existed anymore in many places in Europe, back on the map and help it flourish. This was successful. By looking over our own borders, the activity in various countries has blossomed once again and a flourishing European competition has come into existence.
The aim of DCE is to ensure that as many people as possible enjoy drum & bugle corps as much as possible. This means working practically with as few rules as possible, clear communication and trying to get as many people as possible enthusiastic about this fantastic activity. Please visit their website
Drum Corps Media have been providing high quality photography for the activity since 2005, capturing fantastic images of the bands in competition that are great for gifts, memories and promotional material. Please visit their website
